NHS Trusts turn to Imprivata for secure access to patient records

As many as 91 English NHS Trusts, three of the Trusts in Northern Ireland and Scotland's entire NHS system are using Imprivata OneSign to provide clinicians with improved workflow and data security, driving productivity and improving patient service.

Imprivata's UK market share has grown rapidly with customers including Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trusts and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust coming on board recently. As NHS hospitals face mounting pressure to improve clinical productivity and meet strict budget demands, regulation requirements around data protection and security also continue to impact IT decision making. Enabling fast and secure access to patientdata has therefore become a key priority, particularly as Trusts work to meet demands set out by the Information Governance Toolkit and other local initiatives such as 'Better Health, Better Care' in Scotland.
