Imprivata Names Carl Murphy Chief Revenue Officer
Seasoned leader brings institutional knowledge and more than a decade of experience managing access management sales teams to drive strategic growth in healthcare and other critical industries
Waltham, Mass. – January 22, 2025 – Imprivata, the digital identity company for life- and mission-critical industries, today announced the appointment of Carl Murphy as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Carl brings a wealth of experience in driving revenue growth and strategic sales initiatives, which he will leverage to enhance Imprivata’s market presence and customer success.

Over the past decade, Carl has dedicated his career to helping customers in healthcare and other highly regulated industries enhance their cybersecurity and data analytics solutions. Before joining Imprivata, Carl led healthcare sales at SecureLink, which was acquired by Imprivata in 2022. Carl also held leadership roles in sales and account management at Maize Analytics, which was acquired by SecureLink, which provided him with valuable insights and expertise in critical access management and securing valuable assets, such as networks, systems, and data.
In his new role, Carl will lead all sales efforts, focusing on expanding market reach and driving customer success across Imprivata’s access management and privileged access security solutions.
