Video preview: HealthEast Care Systems to discuss successful physician adoption of EPCS at HIMSS16

This week, at the HIMSS16 Conference & Exhibition (February 29-March 4, 2016 in Las Vegas), Todd Smith, CMIO for HealthEast Care System, and Lou Gallagher, System Director of Engineering and Architecture at HealthEast Care Systems, will take the stage to present a session titled, "Improving Physician Efficiency and Patient Care with EPCS” as part of the HIMSS16 education program.

The session will focus on the strategies implemented at HealthEast Care System to drive physician adoption of EPCS. HealthEast will discuss its interpretation of the DEA requirements for EPCS, its technologies decisions, lessons learned, and best practices that other organizations can follow to realize the efficiency, provider satisfaction, and patient safety benefits of EPCS.
