Imprivata at HIMSS 2025: Explore the Next Era of Clinical Access
Clinicians didn’t sign up to be IT experts. Yet, they are forced to navigate complex passwords, security protocols, and repeated identity verification processes every day when they should really be focused on providing patient care.
Is this really the best we can do for the healthcare workers we rely on?
At Imprivata, we refuse to believe it is—and at HIMSS 2025, we’re excited to show how our latest innovations in mobile device access, passwordless authentication, and workflow analytics are changing the future of clinical access.

The State of Third-Party Access a Year After the Change Healthcare Attack
#HIMSS25 will take place a little over one year after the Change Healthcare attack made headlines across the nation and left a lasting impact on patients and providers. So, in the last year, what progress has been made in addressing this threat?
A new and timely report from Imprivata and the Ponemon Institute, “The State of Third-Party Access in Cybersecurity,” revealed that despite increased awareness of third-party risk, 47% of organizations have experienced a data breach or cyberattack involving third-party access in the past year.
The report highlights major barriers to mitigating third-party risks, like lack of visibility, insufficient resources, and inconsistent security strategies, underscoring the critical need for healthcare organizations to implement robust security measures like vendor privileged access management.
At our booth, we’ll be highlighting these findings and showcasing how our Imprivata Vendor Privileged Access Management helps address these challenges and enhance the security of third-party access in healthcare.
