Imprivata joins ECRI Institute in movement to improve patient safety
As part of our continued efforts to improve patient safety, Imprivata is excited to announce that we’ve joined ECRI Institute’s Partnership for Health IT Patient Safety. The partnership leverages the expertise of health IT developers, patient safety organizations, healthcare providers, policymakers, and a number of other patient representation groups to proactively address patient safety issues.
As a member of the Partnership for Health IT Safety, we’ll work together with partners including Cerner, CHIME, Epic, HIMSS, and others, to conduct extensive research into health IT safety and disseminate the results, enhancing health IT innovation. The Partnership provides a trusted forum for all stakeholders to collect and analyze safety events and hazards, identify and share promising solutions and safe practices, and inform policymakers and the broader healthcare community about priorities for health IT safety.
We’re pleased to deepen our commitment to patient safety by joining the Partnership and we look forward to providing updates as we collaborate to drive safer health IT practices.
