Employee Spotlight: Meagan Tobin, IT Services Technician

In this employee Q&A, Meagan Tobin, IT Services Technician, discusses her position at Imprivata, why she enjoys working at Imprivata, and what she likes to do outside of work.

Q: What is your position at Imprivata and what do you do?
A: I am an IT Services Technician, I work with the interns assisting Imprivata employees with their daily IT needs, as well as work on various IT projects to help grow our department and our company.

Q: Why work at Imprivata?
A: I was an intern at Imprivata during college and got such a great impression that I came back full-time after graduating in 2016. Imprivata has a great culture and my team is like a family to me. I come to work excited to see my coworkers, hear about their weekend, and get started on the day’s projects. The company as a whole makes me feel welcome and happy to come to work to help my coworkers each day.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: When the weather is nice, I like to get outside and explore my New Hampshire neighborhood. My husband and I like to take nature drives, hike, kayak, watch wildlife, and take our dog for walks. We also like to meet friends for dinner, movies, and wine nights. We recently bought a house and have been slowly working on our interior design and a bit of renovation.
