Imprivata Named a Finalist for Two 2010 SC Magazine Awards
Imprivata® Inc., the employee access management company, has been named a 2010 SC Magazine Award finalist in the Reader Trust Award category for Best Multi- and Second-Factor Solution and in the Excellence Award category for Best Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Security Solution.
LEXINGTON, Mass.—January 4, 2010— Imprivata®, Inc., the employee access management company, has been named a 2010 SC Magazine Award finalist in the Reader Trust Award category for Best Multi- and Second-Factor Solution and in the Excellence Award category for Best Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Security Solution. In addition, its customer Bill McQuaid, of Parkview Adventist Medical Center, has been named a finalist in the Professional Award category for the CSO of the Year. Winners for the 2010 SC Awards, which recognize outstanding achievement in information technology (IT) security, will be announced on Tuesday, March 2, 2010.

Details on the three categories include:
- Reader Trust Award - Imprivata’s OneSign Authentication Management was named as a premiere solution in the Reader Trust Award competition, which honors best-in-class security products and services. OneSign Authentication Management was selected from more than 600 entries submitted in more than 31 technology categories. All finalists will be reviewed and winners will be chosen by the Reader Trust Voting Panel – comprised of security and technology experts from large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets – representing the wide distribution of SC Magazine readers.
- Excellence Award - Imprivata’s OneSign technology is also being recognized in the Excellence Award category as the SME Security Solution, which recognizes companies with superior security products that help customers tackle today’s pressing security challenges.
- Professional Award - Imprivata customer Bill McQuaid, CIO and assistant vice president of Parkview Adventist Medical Center, has been named a finalist in the CSO of the Year category which recognizes outstanding achievement in information technology (IT) security.
