Software to help UMass Memorial with prescriptions

WORCESTER – UMass Memorial Health Care Inc. plans to use software from a Lexington company to electronically prescribe controlled substances such as opioids, a move aimed at smoothing procedures for doctors and patients while preventing fraud.
